• Within After Effects CS5, Twixtor now has better caching behavior when animating any of Twixtor's parameters, most notably the Speed or Frame Number settings. Only the frames that need to be rerendered are removed from the cache, instead of all the previously rendered frames.

What's new in version 4.5.5? Posted May 25, 2010:

• Released for 64-bit Linux only.
• Fixes an issue where there could be a color shift on the top of the image at higher resolution then HD in project higher than 8 bpc.
• This is a 64b fix only. Note the plugin has been renamed Twixtor and DesktopTwixtor without the number in the name so there is no more issues with differing Sparks names for Twixtor the next time you upgrade. If you need to run burn on 32b, copy and rename the 32b burn Sparks so the number in the name matches. You can rename the plugin without it having any adverse effects.

What's new in version 5.2? Posted June 30, 2011:

• Initial Release
• Known bug in Vegas Pro 10.0d (fixed in 10.0e): deleting an event with Twixtor can cause Vegas Pro 10.0d to crash. The solution is after scrubbing the timeline, wait several seconds before deleting the event with Twixtor (essentially you need to wait until Vegas finishes rendering the 8 or more frame it may be calculating in the background after you move the current time pointer). Similarly, if you scrub within the timeline or move the current time pointer, wait several seconds before exiting Vegas Pro or it may crash. We are working with Sony and hope to have this fixed in an upcoming release of Vegas Pro.
